  1. Zero Tolerance - KVT Folder Knife - MagnaCut & Carbon Fiber - ZT0545 - Knife

The slim profile and carbon fiber handle provide comfortable and lightweight carry for the Zero Tolerance 0545. Moreover, the 0545 model is appropriately sized for serious cutting tasks. The CPM MagnaCut steel blade is balanced and highly performant.

Aesthetically, this ZT Original boasts a clean design without visible screws for the pocket clip.

Produced in the United States, the premium CPM MagnaCut steel of the blade, achieved through powdered metallurgy, excels in edge retention, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and toughness; the stonewashed finish helps conceal signs of use.

The blade opens easily and effortlessly thanks to the KVT system with ball bearings, washers, and flipper.

As an elegant and refined alternative to the original 0450, Zero Tolerance presents the 0450BLUCF model with that extra touch.

The CPM MagnaCut blade steel represents exceptional toughness, wear resistance, and unparalleled edge retention.

The classic stonewash finish of the blade with ball bearings highlights the robust side of the Frame Lock Folder and complements the blue marbled carbon front handles and the titanium handle area on the back.

  3. Boker - Sherman EDC knife 110665 - collection knife

The great success of the Boker M4 Sherman Damascus, due not only to the history of the historic Damascus steel but also to the design, prompted us to use this as the basis for a performing and pleasant EDC with a titanium framelock, which, despite the metallurgy of the blade powders, also carries a real piece of M4 Sherman Damascus.

For the blade of the Sherman EDC we used Magnacut for the first time, which is not without reason celebrated as a "miracle steel". Unlike the usually used tool steels, this steel was specially developed for the production of knives. The three desirable properties of a steel - edge retention, toughness and resistance to rust (stainless in the DIN category) - represent a conflict of goals. To make the steel resistant to rust, the addition of chromium is necessary, which makes the structure coarse, brittle and prone to fracture under normal conditions. The high hardness, which has a positive influence on the cutting life, is usually achieved at the expense of toughness. With Magnacut, despite the high chromium content of 10.7% and an impressive hardenability of over 62HRC, it was possible to achieve a very fine microstructure and thus a high toughness and shock load tolerance. The addition of nitrogen plays a central role here.

The central structural difference compared to the M4 Damascus model is the elegantly integrated flipper, which allows the blade to open smoothly with a small impulse.

A special highlight of the Boker Sherman EDC is the protruding Damascus backspacer, which is equipped with a lanyard hole in an elongated slot design. The Damascus of the backspacer was forged from various materials from Chad Nichols' M4 Sherman tank production in the Customized Ladder pattern and resembles the tank tracks left in the ground by the heavy chains of the M4 Sherman.

  4. Boker - Vigtig Vs. Wild - 121509 - CPM-MagnaCut & Micarta - bushcraft knife

The steel chosen for the blade is Magnacut, which offers high toughness and tolerance to impact loads, despite its high chromium content of 10.7% and impressive hardness of over 62-63 HRC.

The handles are slightly flatter than the original Vigtig, and instead of the hollow studs, the two large screws can be easily removed with the help of a coin, revealing a large compartment with a depth of 14 mm compared to the outer dimensions of the handle, where tweezers, tinder, charcoal tablets, a fishing kit and safety pins, for example, can be easily housed. Even as a skeleton knife without handles, the Boker Vigtig vs. Wild, manufactured entirely in Solingen, makes a fine impression and underscores the versatility of this special model. It comes complete with a compact black Kydex sheath with clip.
