Bud Nealy is universally recognized as one of the best knifemakers in the world. He is also known as the inventor of the MCS (Multi Concealment Sheath) system that allows the knife to be placed securely in any type of position. Knife launched on the market in 2014 by Fox Knives, civilian version of their Spartan Defender Military Bayonet. It has the distinction of having a trapezoidal polymer handle with the blade offset upward from the user's grip. Model now discontinued and replaced by the "Spartan 2 Leonidas" currently in production, decidedly more canonical in appearance, conformation and materials.

The STA Sniper blade was designed for a USMC scout/sniper and STA training group instructor in Phoenix, Arizona. Medford wanted to offer something completely unique to the Sniper's craft and his particular needs.

A clever design that utilises the integration of innovative tools with classic knife elements for a perfect blend of form and function. The 1/2" spanner in the handle fits almost any scope mounting system ring, the hilt screwdriver adjusts to turret adjustments, the measuring marks on the back are extremely convenient for both scouting and sniping, and the LTRE (Look Through Range Estimator) can significantly improve sight distance estimation up to 400 metres. The blade is extremely robust for field work and the compact size allows easy placement in any kit/equipment.

Globally in good condition, it has marks on the blade and handle due to the normal passage of time and the very aggressive scabbard which, containing a spring-loaded metal foil, irreparably scratches the blade both in insertion and extraction - It still has the factory sharpening and comes with a compass in the tang and two harpoons already engaged on the guard branch; lacking instead the box and additional accessories - Checked and certified by our in-house laboratory.

Notes: The feature, patented, is the presence of two removable screw-on harpoons/hooks. The function of these is simple anchorage. In fact, this knife can be used as a throwing hook by attaching a rope to the ring on the pommel. The manufacturer guarantees a harpoon hold of up to 600 pounds. The Navy Seals, specifically, had requested a knife that could be used underwater in order to anchor the vehicles to an underwater attachment point, and that is the reason for the total steel construction.

Each Randall model has been thoroughly tested in the field and has been shown to be properly modeled and designed for its particular use. Randall knives are 100% handmade and no two are exactly alike. The demand is so great for all models that it typically takes a few years to get the model ordered directly from Randall.

"Bo" Randall passed away on December 25, 1989 at his home. Bo and his son Gary have run the business side by side for over twenty five years. Gary continues the tradition of handcrafted knives that carry the Randall Made brand along with his children, Jason and Michael.

From a private collection, this is a model no longer in production that reproduces the Argentine national knife: a blade with a simple shape that is ideal for almost everything from hunting, repair of harnesses and saddles, cooking and eating meals.

Retired from rivata collection - Rare Rockstead model produced in 2009 in SANMAI ZDP189 and ATS34 steel - the temper of this piece has reached a rare hardness of 67.4 hrc - Knife in like new condition.
