Il Red Spacer KA-BAR è probabilmente il coltello KA-BAR più collezionabile realizzato durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Ogni distanziatore rosso è fatto a mano per essere leggermente più lungo dell'attuale distanziatore utilizzato sui coltelli da combattimento/utilità KA-BAR. La lama viene sabbiata, quindi trattata a freddo.

Il fodero subisce un processo di invecchiamento per scurire la pelle e far corrispondere il colore del fodero originale.
