This Pattada constitutes the now historical interpretation of the Sardinian knife made by Consiglio. The handle formed by two halves fixed with a row of rivets and the absence of a real spring are typical of the original model, but the line, the shape of the surfaces, the use of bovine horn are influenced by the Scarperian tradition. Yatagarasu, in Japanese culture, is a three-legged crow symbol of driving owned by the Sun goddess Amaterasu. Yatagarasu appears in ancient Japanese documents, such as Kojiki (古 事 記), in which it is also said that he fought and killed a beast intending to devour the Sun, and that he is also the protector of the emperor Jimmu.
