While there are numerous Dual Action offerings among manufacturers, this design won the Most Innovative award at the 2011 Blade Show. This model features a button for automatic deployment of the side opening blade, a large liner lock, oversized thumb stud for manual deployement, index choil for higher grip allowing precision cutting, anti-slip thumb grooves, and a pocket clip. Microtech's Select-Fire comes with a tool to lock the knife's automatic capability rendering it a manual only operating knife.
