Kukri - World War II Gurkha
Nepal's national weapon and its Gurkha warriors are distinguished by their sharp curved blade in the lathe and the weight shift towards the tip that allows very effective gaiters. The grip is straight, no guard. Characteristic is the ricotta (kauri) and the leather sheath covered with two small knives (karda and chakmak).
