The “Inversion” has the famed Dovo “Micro Motion” PTFE-enabled spring-loaded pressure plate to hold the center screw, which gives a more responsive feel to the scissoring action and a certain ease to starting and finishing the scissor action. The convex blade surfaces are what really sets the Inversion apart from the rest of the Dovo line of lefty scissors. Convex blade faces allows precise ‘slice cuts’, where one points the scissor to the ground and opens the scissor but doesn’t actually move the blades-instead relying upon the blades’ exceptionally thin and sharp cutting edges to trim the hair which points to the ceiling.
