Quick Overview

Made in Italy - Versilia oven with lid and iron plate 30 cm

OVEN VERSILIA WITH COVER PLATE AND IRON 30 cm.
the oven Versilia is a ciambelliera a diameter of 30cm, high 15,50 cm., including the cover, has two handles on the sides and at the center of the cylindrical bore has high walls and bevelled towards the inside of the hole.
The lid has 4 holes, from which the hot steam flows out.
The third element of this oven is an iron cone, cut just above the large base, which acts as a flame spreader.
Versilia The oven is manufactured in thin extruded aluminum; It is one of the products for the food industry of Ottinetti company working aluminum as far back as 1920.
Both the traditional oven is the Versilia oven can be used to prepare sweet and savory dishes: bread, potatoes and other vegetables, meat and even pasta! The only care is to put baking paper, or grease it well so that the material does not stick to the walls.
With this mini-oven pies and cakes are higher and softer compared to electric oven, thanks to the humidity given off by burning gas.
How to use the Versilia oven?
It 'very practical, is to use a normal cake tin: is buttered and floured and once poured the mixture should be placed on the burner on the gas stove.
The metallic speaker can be placed under, in the recess of the oven, the oven between the same and the flame, so as to spread the heat evenly towards the walls; it is always best, however, also put the flame spreader retina, so you have an even better temperature distribution.
Being of aluminum, it is easy to clean as a normal pan; a quick wash with water and washing up liquid and, in cases of extreme blackening, a beautiful rose with soapy steel wool.
Benefits of Versilia oven.
Compared with the traditional oven, electric or gas, energy conservation is certainly remarkable; the oven must not be heated in advance, then the time required for cooking the sweet equivalent to the energy consumption time; also a small stove definitely consumes less of the plate of the oven, the flame is directed, it is stable and is more easily adjustable.
Results are best: the dough is quickly pushed upwards by the heat below, the leavened cake and is much more swollen than in traditional oven; the result is a much higher than usual cake, well risen and "watchful" pasta; The leavening can be controlled through the holes in the lid, with a long stick from kebabs you can verify the successful solidification of the mixture.
The cooking times do not get longer than those in the oven, and in any case always applies the rule not to open the lid before it is passed at least half an hour and not before the stick completely dry proceed out of the cake.
