  2. Berti - Colonnata Set 3 pieces - kitchen

    Two knives and a fork for the proper cutting and serving of Lardo di Colonnata.
    After at least six months spent in a marble basin, together with "Secret" aromas, Colonnata lard, cleansed of the rind, sea salt and the aromas that envelop it, releases an immense fragrance that is enhanced by consuming it cut into very thin slices: a thousand-year-old tradition to which we dedicate this box set.
    The smaller knife for a twofold function: to separate the lard from the rind by a few centimeters, that is, for the amount of lard you intend to consume, and, on the back side, to clean the lard from the sea salt and aromas that envelop it.
    The larger knife for cutting very thin slices of lard in such a way as to release its "immense" fragrance that is enhanced precisely with this type of cut. The small fork to lay the resulting slice on a piece of bread, perhaps warm toasted, or lay it on a plate.
