Wherever you use it, in a restaurant or at home, the paella pan brings to mind conviviality and rich, tasty flavours. To get the most out of this kind of item, it is important to know how to store it in the best possible way: here are our tips and instructions for handling the paellera.

USE TIPS FOR BRUSHED IRON ITEMS - First use:

    1) Remove the adhesive label applied to the inner surface by slightly heating the pan

    2) Remove the transparent protective film applied to the pans bring water to a boil in the pan

    3) Wash the pan in hot water and dishwashing liquid

    4) Dry carefully immediately afterwards with a soft cloth (never leave to air dry)

    5) Rub a small amount of cooking oil into the inner surface in order to prepare the metal to better withstand the heat of the fire when cooking.

After removing the protective film, always keep the pan lightly greased with cooking oil.

As the items do not have a non-stick coating, to remove any food residue, it is advisable to soak the pan in hot water and dishwashing liquid for up to one hour, use a sponge (non-abrasive) if necessary, wash and dry carefully afterwards (never allow to air dry).

Before storing the pan, grease the inside and outside with olive oil, wrap with paper and store in a plastic bag in a dry place.

Never place empty frying pans and pans on the cooker, heat slowly to avoid overheating and monitor the heat constantly.

If using brushed items in the oven, do not use temperatures above 250°C and do not leave them in the oven for more than 10 minutes.

For use in the oven, we recommend the IDEAL line with enamelling.

Do not use the items in a microwave oven.

Use only wooden or metal utensils (plastic utensils are not recommended as these types of cookware reach very high temperatures which could damage plastic utensils).

Items reach high temperatures during use, so never leave items on the stove without proper adult supervision.
