Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. The success was remarkable: Fällkniven introduced an innovative philosophy for survival knives, in stark contrast to the outdated technologies that had dominated the development of combat and survival knives since World War II.

The Fallkniven H1 knife is a very handy knife with impressive strength. The H1 is our first true hunting knife and encapsulates the history of Nordic Scandinavian cutlery art. Because of this heritage, the H1 does not have a standard finger guard, but grip security is improved by the ergonomic thermorun plastic handle.

The special design of the H1 blade is used to work game while hunting. The H1 knife may look different, but it works very well. In many ways, the performance of a knife depends on the person holding it. Knowing where and how to properly carve game goes beyond the knife. Hunters must avoid wrong cuts, keep hair off the meat, avoid cutting organs, and minimize blood flowing onto the game and the hunter. A boning knife is a kitchen tool specifically designed to remove bones from meat, poultry or fish. It features a thin, sharp blade with a pointed tip, allowing it to easily penetrate between joints and joints to separate meat from bones precisely and efficiently.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance prolongs the life of the knife, makes work easier and safer and reduces the consumption of the wire. Some advices:
- Pay attention that the knives placed in the dishwasher collide with other objects; the blades could be damaged.
- Knives guaranteed for dishwashers that are not immediately washed in the machine should be rinsed under the water tap to remove the remains of highly corrosive foods (fats, vinegar, fruit juices).
- Make sure if the knives no longer cut perfectly, have them rectified or sharpened by professionals in the sector.
The WUSTHOF knives sold by us are carefully checked and if necessary further sharpened in our internal laboratory, in order to guarantee you the certainty of an excellent purchase.

Stone pocket , for sharpening , with a side ceramic 1 micron ( grain 15000 ) and with one side to the diamond 25 micron ( 600 grit ) . It has the shape of a folding knife , with quick-release mechanism with safety lock to prevent accidental opening . The closure is done by pressing and releasing the button opening .

The side of the diamond has a treatment TAN ( Alumina Titanium Nitride ) while the ceramic side is made from synthetic sapphires . Both materials are extremely durable and long lasting and come in 8 and 10 hardness on the Mohs scale ; both are able to remain perfect and long lasting , so as to ensure the best possible result , also of special steels or sintered with extremely high hardness .

The stones are joined together using special adhesives 3M and can not be separated in any way . They can be used dry or with a little water and soap or acuqa to keep the surfaces clean. Fallkniven Tre Kronor TK4

The "Tre Kronor" martensitic combines the latest technology with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family.
These knives, in fact, are the only ones that can boast of a real symbol of the three crowns placed on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box containing the knife and sheath.
The steel laminate used is currently one of the best steel in industrial trade and is composed of a lamina in internal SGPS from dust, steel already used for the U2, to 62HRC coupled to two grips external VG2. The knives reveal so exceptional qualities of cut, penetration and sealing of the wire.
