Because the kettle has to heat a large amount of water in a short time, a sufficiently large bottom made of high-quality material is essential. ZWILLING JA Henckels designers have therefore equipped it with the SIGMA Classic sandwich bottom, prized for its energy-saving cooking capability, thanks to which energy input can be reduced once the pot is heated, thus protecting the environment.

The bottom of the SIGMA Classic is composed of three layers. The 18/10 stainless steel inner layer ensures easy maintenance, is hygienic, scratch-resistant, and does not absorb tastes or odors. The strong aluminum core stores heat, then distributes it quickly and evenly. A third layer of the highest quality magnetic chrome-plated steel allows the kettle to be used for induction and is also easy to maintain. The kettle is dishwasher safe .

Five steps to make a quality product.

To make the steel from the rod for Alexander cutlery, no less than five careful, time-consuming and expensive processing stages are required: 

forging from hot bars of stainless steel 

hot coining 

shearing of profile and interior 

roughing and bending 

tempering. In addition to the above steps, there are the normal finishing operations (mirroring, handle machining). The spoon is sober and slender in shape, with respect for functionality. Handcrafted forged cutlery in stainless steel, with a black bakelite handle polished by hand with mirror blades.

The Pro electric kettle impresses not only with its fine design, but also with its many functions. In addition to the above-mentioned phases, there are the normal finishing operations (mirroring, machining of the fork tines, machining of the handle). The tines of the forks, unlike those of stamped cutlery, are thin, hand-turned, close-set and pointed. Handcrafted forged cutlery in stainless steel, with a black bakelite handle polished by hand with mirror blades.
