ROK, which is part of the SOLID knives family made from a single piece of aluminum or titanium, has two important innovations:

* the introduction of the new H.WAYL System; it is a LionSteel patent that allows the clip to disappear inside the handle when using the knife. The clip can appear only when needed.

* the introduction of NFC technology into the knife box. With this system the user no longer has to look for the information on the product, but it is the knife itself that makes them available: indications for maintenance, in-depth information on the production process, or more general information about LionSteel.

As was already the case with the TRE model, the user has the possibility to remove the pinball machine, opting for a more traditional two-handed blade opening. In collaboration with Wander Tactical we decided to propose their new neck knife, the Raptor, in an exclusive satin-blade version that uses the famous SanMai japanese steel produced by Takefu Steel. For the central plate we have chose the CoS with 61,5HRC (Cobalt Special, considered mechanically superior by 25% compared to the already much appreciated VG10) and 420J2 with 56 HRC for the two side plates in order to ensure high cutting capacity but at the same time a remarkable resistance to abrasion, resilience and resistance to oxidation.

Tips for knife maintenance

Appropriate maintenance extends the knife life, makes work easier and safer, and reduces wire consumption. Some advices:

- Be careful that the knives put into the dishwasher an urtin other objects; They could damage the blades.

- Dishwasher safe knives that are not immediately washed in the machine should be rinsed under the tap to remove the remains of highly corrosive foods (fat, vinegar, fruit juice).
