Fallkniven - Taiga Hunter knife - TH - SanMai CoS Steel - thermorun - knife
The taiga knives are distinctive hunting and all-round knives for the demanding user. A strong blade in laminated cobalt steel does not only mean a stable function, you notice quite quickly that the edge holds the sharpness really well without being brittle. The reason is the fine, well heat treated and tempered steel but also the convex shaped edge that is not only strong but also wood-sharp. The ergonomic shape of the handle provides a secure grip regardless of weather and wind.If you look at function and most value for money, the rubber-handle Taiga blades should be preferred. Regardless of the weather and wind, the rubber handle gives a really good grip and when it comes to the steel properties they are of course as good as the knives with wooden handles.Intended use: Hiking / Hunting / Collection

The reason is the fine, well heat treated and tempered steel but also the convex shaped edge that is not only strong but also wood-sharp. The ergonomic shape of the handle provides a secure grip regardless of weather and wind.As shown in the design, TH1 is a handmade knife with a handle in the very exclusive desert ironwood (lat. Olneya tesota). This species is not listed in CITES Annexes or the IUCN Red List of Endangered Species and is therefore legal to use. Like all natural materials, it varies in texture and color, making each knife an individual creation. A beautifully veined pattern may look attractive but a straight, patterned handle is actually stronger. Desert ironwood, which grows in the southwestern United States, has a somewhat peculiar quality – it is heavier than water, its density is 1.2 kg/dm³ which means it will sink. If you want to maintain or even increase the luster in the wood, treat it with log oil, furniture oil, bench oil or other type of wood oil containing linseed oil. The fact that the blade goes full width through the handle (so-called full tang blade) results in a very strong and reliable construction and gives a comfortable weight to the knife.Intended use: Hiking / Hunting / Collection

A brief history of the brand
Kanetsune is a brand of Kitasho Co., Ltd., based in Seki, a Japanese city historically known as the “City of Cutlery.” The company officially dates back to 1964, with family roots in knife manufacturing and trade going back to the 1930s. The name Kanetsune is traditionally associated with a renowned master bladesmith of the Muromachi period, underlining its strong connection to Japanese forging heritage.
Use and maintenance advice
The Blue Steel Damascus blade requires care: after use, it is recommended to wash by hand, dry immediately, and apply a light protective oil layer during storage or use in humid environments. Avoid dishwashers and prolonged contact with water or aggressive substances. The samegawa provides a natural, secure grip, enhancing handle stability even with wet hands.
Why choose this knife
The Kanetsune Shinobi KB-209 is not just a knife, but an object with a strong identity: 15-layer Damascus Blue Steel for a distinctive cutting edge, a traditional handle with samegawa and cord for control and authenticity, and a Japanese-style wooden sheath for elegant presentation. An ideal choice for enthusiasts seeking a fixed blade with true Japanese character, beyond common Western designs.KB209 -

Note:-Characteristics of San Mai Maple: These are different types of metals combined to create a composition that contains and intensifies the resistance of the metals individually:
- Mayor vida útil del filo
Thanks to the use of very high quality maples with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the core of the plate (Core Steel), the heat, once templada, has a hardness and a Decidedly superior court performance. which were achieved with the use of traditional maple trees.- Mayor resilience
Built according to the principle of Japanese swords, the multi-headed maple is difficult to break thanks to the hardness of the central maple (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the maple used for the lateral covering (Stainless Steel).- Better resistance to corrosion
The maple used for the external caps (Stainless Maple) guarantees the house a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at the galvanic level, a structure that improves resistance to corrosion, including in the steel.- Easy processing including after heat treatment
Although the maple is normally hardened after the tempering, the lateral maple used in the multi-head process does not become softer and allows for easy mechanicalization, cutting or soldering even after the heat treatment. For optimal health performance, cryogenic treatment is recommended.- Improved aesthetic result
The cuchillos made with multi-layered maple or with damask pattern are aesthetically elegant, refined and much appreciated by collectors around the world at the end of the manufacturing process. For more information: collinsteel

Takeshi Saji - Nomurakata Kuma knife - Craft knife
Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu (Fukui prefecture), a city located roughly in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. His lab is still there, built around the oven thanks to which, for several years now, Takeshi Saji forge steel (especially damascus) with which he made various models of traditional Japanese knives. The choice of materials for finishing (mainly natural), the essential lines - evocative use - and the color combinations of rare impact his accomplishments make unique and unmistakable in view of the cutlery world and at home, have earned him the prestigious Master title.

Takeshi Saji - Miyabi Kenryu - Coltello Artigianale
