The “LionSTEEL-Emerson ONE” project is back and the L.E.One Mid was created as a compact, ultra-light edition of our original and larger SOLID folding karambit, developed in collaboration with Emerson Design. The SOLID frame-lock handle — a LionSTEEL hallmark — is milled from a single solid piece of Ergal aluminum while the blade is crafted from Bohler M390 steel.

The reversible stainless steel clip can be mounted on the opposite side by screwing in the corresponding square steel post.

A steel insert is positioned at the end of the handle scale where the lock engages, preventing aluminum wear from contact with the blade during opening.

The patented Wave opening: Ernest Emerson created the Emerson Wave Feature so the knife automatically opens when drawn from the pocket at the correct angle. It is the fastest opening system in the world — faster than many automatics, because the extraction motion itself deploys the blade.

The “LionSTEEL-Emerson ONE” project is back, and L.E.One Mid was created as a compact and super-light edition of our first and largest folding karambit SOLID, developed in collaboration with Emerson Design. The drop-point blade with high-precision saber sharpening is made of CPM-3V steel, a carbon steel produced using powder metallurgy technology, renowned for its exceptional toughness, high impact resistance, and remarkable wear resistance. Although not stainless, it offers good corrosion resistance for its category and ensures excellent edge retention even in the most demanding uses. Cutting, carving, and even chopping are the unmistakable comfort zone of this outdoor knife.

To ensure maximum stability, the tang is full-length and protrudes a few millimeters from the end of the handle, so that it can easily withstand even powerful blows with round wood. A short section of the blade's back forms sharp 90-degree edges on both sides to make sparks with an optional fire starter. Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) was chosen as the handle material, which completely encloses the tang and has a grippy texture.

Throughout the world, from Europe to Ancient Egypt to the Far East, the battle axe has been distinguished by its immediate effectiveness in combat, requiring less complex training than other tools but providing decisive performance in close quarters situations. EXTREMA RATIO, an official supplier to the Comsubin, reinterprets this age-old tradition with ESTREMA, a tactical battle axe developed for the G.O.I. (Naval Operational Incursors Group).

With a state-of-the-art design, ESTREMA combines the strength and speed of the historic weapon with technological innovation, offering a versatile and reliable tool for the most demanding missions. Skinny, LionSteel's versatile new folding knife, features a SOLID billet construction and a CPM-MagnaCut steel blade.

It is opened incredibly smoothly via a flipper system supported by IKBS ball bearings, with the option of removing the flipper tab to comply with carry regulations found in some nations transforming the knife into a two-handed opening pocket knife. 

The sturdy SOLID handle is made of titanium or aluminum, with carbon fiber or micarta inserts. Both versions feature a Frame Lock type locking system and a removable and reversible pocket clip.
