Polish knife maker David Hás accompanied the Boker Plus Pollywog throughout its metamorphosis, from blank sheet to debut in the EDC world.

Inspired by the charm of nature, the Cronos Knives designer carefully shaped the form and composition of this fixed blade knife, taking inspiration from the tadpole from which it takes its name. The satin-finished drop-point blade recalls the tail of the small amphibian and guides the Neck Knife confidently through everyday life, thanks to the exceptional properties of Nitro-V steel. This material is distinguished by its high edge retention and low susceptibility to corrosion, making even small outdoor cutting jobs easy.

Jimping on the thumb rest and full tang construction ensure maximum precision and control, while the contoured G10 scales with ergonomic finger grooves offer additional comfort. The end of the handle features a hollow rivet reminiscent of the tadpole's eyes and serves as a lanyard hole.

The knife comes complete with a custom-made Kydex sheath with ball chain and a lanyard for safe and stylish carrying.

Satre Expeditions, as well as the Satre model from which it derives, is a fixed blade knife of small dimensions, light and extremely resistant. Given its characteristics, it can be used in a wide range of disciplines and uses or as part of an EDC (Every Day Carry) kit.

It has been designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced F.I.S.S. (Federazione italiana survival sportivo e sperimentale) instructor. In Neck Knife mode, through the use of a 550 paracord lanyard, it is possible to hold it around the neck keeping the knife vertical with the handle facing downwards.

The metal eyelets on the sheath, made of pre-shaped Kydex, allow the application of both the lanyard and the accessory holder. 

The full-tang skeletonized structure, allows you to customize the knife using Paracord as a coating for the handle.

Satre Expeditions uses Böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC with MIL-C-13924 burnishing and stone washed surface treatment (Dark Stone finish). It comes with a desert-colored pre-formed kydex sheath on which you can attach the Firesteel for lighting fires (provided inside the box).

It is defined by its creator as a sort of "off the road" of cutting tools, therefore not a specific disposable tool, but a multi-tasking tool, extremely versatile and designed to cope with many uses.

Thanks to its ergonomics, weight and size, Kreios Expeditions is suitable to open gaps in the thick vegetation, especially where it is necessary to take distance, for safety reasons, from thorny or harmful essences. Thanks to its robustness, it is an effective machete even in the heaviest field work. Combining the 32 cm of the "full flat" cutting edge, the 11° forward inclination of the blade and the 630 gr. of its weight, you get a tool with extraordinary cutting capabilities that does not fear bending.

Kreios Expeditions brings modern geometry and materials combined with the lines and effectiveness of blades typical of the Malaysian and African tradition, creating an ideal tool for field work but also, if necessary, for defense/offense. Satre is a small, light and extremely resistant fixed blade knife. Given its characteristics, it is used in a wide range of disciplines and uses ranging from survival activity, bushcraft or as an element of an EDC (Every Day Carry) kit.

It was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced F.I.S.S.S. (Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival).

In Neck Knife mode, through the use of a paracord 550 cord, it is possible to keep it around the neck by keeping the knife vertically with the handle facing downwards. The metal eyelets on the sheath made of pre-shaped Kydex allow the application of both the lanyard and the accessory holder.

The full-tang skeletonized structure allows you to customize the knife using paracord as a coating for the handle

This Black version uses the Böhler N690 heat treated at 58 HRC. This material is chosen for its resistance to oxidation, the durability of the wire and above all the reliability it has shown over the years.

The Black S600 version uses Böhler S600 steel. This steel is used in industrial manufacturing to make metalworking tools and in mold making.

The high content of Molybdenum, Tungsten and a good presence of Vanadium in its chemical composition, give it excellent qualities of hardness, wear resistance and toughness. The presence of Cobalt favors the formation of small carbides uniformly distributed, a characteristic that enhances and elevates wear resistance.

Satre S600 is hardened and cryogenically treated, thus reaching an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC. This gives it great wear resistance and the ability to guarantee the cutting edge of the wire for a long time.

Böhler S600 has 4.5% Chromium, which makes it a carbon steel and therefore can cause rust and oxidation if neglected. To better protect it from atmospheric agents, we have chosen the new external coating EXP DARK.

The high hardness and resistance to wear and abrasion, make this steel not easy to sharpen.

The Opinel N°5 Inox knife is a versatile pocket tool, ideal for daily tasks such as opening packages, model making, or as a practical letter opener. Its 6 cm blade made of Sandvik 12C27M stainless steel offers excellent cutting quality and corrosion resistance, maintaining sharpness even after prolonged use. The beechwood handle, sourced from PEFC-certified French forests, is treated with protective varnish to resist moisture and dirt, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic grip. It is important to note that the Opinel N°5 does not feature the Virobloc locking system; therefore, the blade stays open through friction, requiring careful handling during use.
