This handmade Finnish hunting knife is the shorter version of the classic "hunting knife". Extremely popular model due to its handy size which makes it easy to carry anywhere.

The slightly curved and short blade is particularly useful and comfortable for hunting use.

The blade is made of UHC (Ultra High Carbon) steel and the handle is made of heat-treated curly birch, coated with linseed oil, which ensures a firm grip, even when wet. The UHC steel gives the knife a very long edge life - please note that the hard UHC steel is not suitable for penetrating bone or other hard materials. Maintenance tips: the handle leaves the factory lightly oiled and it is advisable to feed it with a cloth lightly moistened with cooking oil to revive its intensity over time.
