The TOPS Sgt. Scorpion SGTS01 is a high-quality tactical knife, designed to deliver exceptional performance in critical situations. The Rocky Mountain Spike is the result of several months of testing and fine-tuning in the field. The original design was to flank or add a large knife, such as a TOPS Machete or Power Eagle, to offer the user a variety of other applications on smaller projects. The size and steel mass of large knives certainly have their place. However, every once in a while a situation arises where one wishes to have a smaller knife, and particularly one with a narrow blade.

After using and abusing the prototypes in the field, those who have tested the small Rocky Mountain have seen a wide variety of cutting, scraping, splitting, EDC, and separating tasks for which this tool can be used effectively.

We now believe that the Rocky Mountain Spike is an excellent stand-alone toolfor hikers, bikers, campers, boaters, weekend outdoor enthusiasts, and long trips. It can be worn on your belt or kept in your backpack, boot or any other convenient place. Whether it is for general outdoor activities, at work or at home, this is the tool for you.

Known for their rugged longevity in countless practical applications, Ontario's famous Old Hickory knives have been a go-to for cooking and outdoor enthusiasts for over 95 years.
