Inlaid by cabinetmaker Bruno Chaperon transforms the classic N°08: the fusion of four different woods that play on contrasts make it a unique object.

Equipped with an 8.5-cm stainless steel blade and a very durable handle, it is practical and compact. The Virobloc system allows the user to move and work safely. The wood grain changes depending on the creativity of the craftsman who created the knife. Each handle is therefore different from the other and varies in pattern and contrast, making it a truly unique knife.

Notes: The handle is made in our workshops according to the inlay process developed by artist Bruno Chaperon. The assemblage of four different wood species makes each handle unique: ebony, rosewood, violet wood, bocote, cocobolo, rosewood, zebrali, boxwood, amaranth. Exceptional woods with contrasting shades for an original, out-of-the-ordinary result.

The N°08 Savoyard puts the accent on the cradle of Opinel: the mountains of Savoy! 

The beechwood handle is lacquered and decorated with the Savoyard coat of arms. At the end of the handle is a red drawstring for easy carrying. The blade is made of stainless steel and the knife has a Viroblock safety ring.
