Asile is a French artist and illustrator. Her work is a celebration of kindness, with a universe populated by colorful fauna and flora, and happy individuals.
The N°08 Cosmos Asile features two different but equal characters. Here there is no duality, but a pairing, a balance. The moon on which they sit becomes a space for encounter and delicacy, between dream and reality. Three birds carry stars around them, as if they were redrawing a constellation.
The pocket knife has a PEFC hornbeam handle with sublimation decoration and an 8.5 cm stainless steel blade. It comes with a box, which echoes the motifs of the knife, and a postcard.

The N°08 Cosmos Dalkhafine depicts the encounter between earthly power and cosmic energy: the strong and majestic tiger bows before the mermaid, whose head shines like the sun. The sun represents the sovereign star that watches over the universe, just as the mermaid watches over the moon.

The knife n. 08 Ellipse was imagined in the Opinel cabinet-making workshop: raw and opaque ebony is sublimated by an aluminum sheet that highlights and illuminates the sinuous curves of the handle. Maintenance tips: the handle leaves the factory lightly oiled and it is advisable to feed it with a cloth lightly moistened with cooking oil to revive its intensity over time.
