The BF2 is a “full-size” folding knife particularly suited for professional use by military and law enforcement personnel in the field. The handle is sturdy and comfortable; the reversible, wraparound clip serves as a useful and comfortable thumb rest in the “reverse grip” position. The handle scale is solid with the characteristic recessed surfaces designed to engage the opening pins without them protruding from the knife’s closed profile. The blade, available in either a drop-point or tanto configuration, features a flat grind and, like the BF1, a particularly thick and durable tip. The blade locking mechanism is the proven LINER-LOCK, supplemented by a manually operated safety mechanism protected by a guard.

It’s no coincidence that his original design, initially shared on a knife forum, made it into mass production. The silhouette of this fixed-blade knife clearly evokes that of a throwing knife.

The SPECTRUM is a versatile knife designed for everyday use (EDC) and sports activities. Made with industrial care in China, it is distinguished by its high-hardness D2 steel blade (59-61 HRC), finely satin-finished for strength and durability.

The handle, constructed of sturdy G10 with stainless steel inner folders, ensures a firm and secure grip, while the low weight of 120 grams makes it comfortable to carry. I designed the ATCF in 1986-87 inspired by my experience with military and security personnel in Central America and the United States. I wanted to create a unique knife that was lightweight yet sturdy, easily accessible and conveniently carried on various garments, completely corrosion-proof, ambidextrous to open and close, and usable with one hand.

The ATCF was the first tactical knife to be fully assembled with screws instead of pins and rivets.
I invented the thumb disk to facilitate opening with both hands. This became a widely copied feature of the ATCF and is used on many other knives by manufacturers around the world.

The ATCF was the first pocket knife to use a knurl on the top of the blade that matches the finger guard at the base of the handle when the blade is closed. The knurl and guard provide protection and a firm grip when the knife is in use. The original ATCF already used a pocket clip to be accessible in various body positions. 

The ATCF is one of the most copied knife shapes in the knife world, and as I often like to proudly say, “The ATCF is the shape...that shaped the whole industry!”

NON-automatic version of the Caimano Nero model

The Black Caiman is a tactical knife that Extrema Ratio, official supplier of Comsubin, has developed and delivered to the G.O.I. (Gruppo Operativo Incursori) of the Italian Navy. Its name recalls and pays homage to the heroic Caimani Neri del Piave, a department of Arditi of the Regia Marina and other components on a voluntary basis, which during the First World War crossed the Piave River by swimming to carry out raids in enemy territory.

Spear Point" 4 mm blade with asymmetrical rounding and partial sharpening of the counterbore to increase the penetration coefficient. The toothing on the blade allows you to cut cables and fabrics with high resistance preserving the sharpness.

It is a medium folder with a robust structure. The thick aluminum cheeks, thanks to the many processes of removal make the knife light and balanced. The end of the handle, which recalls the shape of the Helix/Timon group of the slow running torpedo (S.L.C.), serves to improve the grip for the rapid extraction of the knife from the pocket.

The DLC-coated titanium clip can be positioned at three different angles on either side to allow for maximum customization of the carry. Its shape is designed to minimize the bulk of the handle outside the pocket.

Among its endowments, besides the carbide glass breaker, there is also a safety, that when inserted, preserves from a dangerous accidental closing of the blade.
