Fallkniven Three Kronor TK1

The “Three Kronor” line blends the latest martensitic technologies with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family.
In fact, these knives are the only ones that can boast the royal symbol of three crowns placed on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box that contains the knife and sheath.
The rolled steel used is currently one of the best industrial steels on the market and is composed of an inner sheet of SGPS from powder, a steel already used for the U2 model, at 62HRC coupled with two outer sheaths of VG2. The knives thus reveal exceptional cutting, penetration and edge-holding qualities.

This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. Slight regrinding, perfectly centered blade with good retention from closed, fluid opening movement and blade without any horizontal or vertical clearance once opened. The frame lock engages in the first quarter of the race without any uncertainty and without sticking.

Globally in good condition, it shows some small marks on the G11 handles and on the back and belly of the liners. A small abrasion on the blade, on the right side near the tip of the knife.
