Sobral Brothers / CAS Knives - 8" Andes Fighter Bowie San-Mai - PRIVATE COLLECTION - handmade knife
KNIFE WITHDRAWN FROM PRIVATE COLLECTION
* Origin: Withdrawn from a private collection, previously purchased
* Condition: Never used, never removed from its sheath, never displayed; as it is a carbon blade and has remained in its sheath for a long time, it has unfortunately developed small spots of oxidation on the blade, which can be easily removed with a potential re-sharpening. However, it is not possible to remove the oxidation present on the passivating oxidation of the hamon. The price at which it is offered takes into account these aesthetic details, which in no way compromise its potential practical use.

This area is home to iconic models such as the Arburesa and the Guspinese (Sa Kuspidesa), symbols of craftsmanship handed down through the ages. This is where the work of Gian Paolo Cancedda, aka Furitto, comes in. Born in the 1980s from the pioneering vision of Bob Terzuola, the Mariner was conceived as a true EDC to carry every day, without compromise. Today, this revamped version pays homage to the original, combining aesthetics faithful to the spirit of the first model with a modern, compact and legally compliant design under 3".
The new Mariner 2 features a MagnaCut steel blade with a sheepsfoot profile, sharp, durable, and hardened to 64 HRC, set in a grade 5 titanium handle that guarantees strength without bulking up your pocket. Every detail has been carefully crafted: encapsulated ceramic bearings, steel liner lock with insert, 3D milled clip with the legendary dragon head logo, and a machined titanium thumb disc with dovetail joint.
This reissue is not only a tribute to the history of custom design, but also a celebration of mechanical innovation and high-end materials, all precision-crafted in Dallas, Texas. A piece that combines past and future, for those who demand the best from a pocket knife.

The colors of materials used in handcrafted products may differ from those shown in images.
Horn, wood, and cornotech are raw materials with inherent variability from batch to batch: that’s the beauty of premium materials. Add to that the artisanal workmanship, where the artisan's hand never repeats the exact same motion: that’s the beauty of handmade work. Put all this together and you'll get a product that is always different and unique. And always different from that one, unrepeatable product that we necessarily have to photograph to show you what we’re offering.

Notes: -Nino Morittu - Knifemaker from Silanus, Province of Nuoro
Nino Morittu creates unique knives, pieces of rare artisanal beauty designed, drawn and finished personally. Each knife is a masterpiece of exceptional craftsmanship, demonstrating his skill in the art of knifemaking. His works, regularly exhibited at various knife shows, have gained wide recognition from collectors and amateurs alike. Morittu prefers the use of C70 type steels and does not produce in large quantities, keeping each piece exclusive thanks to his meticulous artisanal method.
The precision in the details makes his knives almost perfect, testifying to a deep love for work well done. Aesthetically superb, they represent excellent craftsmanship and a passion for quality materials. Morittu's creations are exhibited in internationally renowned museums such as Albacete in Spain, Montreal in Canada, as well as in the United States and Berlin, Germany.
Renowned for his perfectionism, Morittu is often compared to Calaresu, another master knifemaker known for his attention to detail. A distinctive feature of his work is the exclusive use of "paired" horns for the handles, ensuring that there are never any visual disparities between the scales.

MoraKniv - Basic 546 Limited Edition 2024 - Dala Red & Ivy Green - 14282 - knife
This year's colors come from the 17th century Mora folk dress, one of Sweden's oldest folk dresses. Here the green fabric meets the classic Dala Red color typical of our knives. Together, they breathe new life into the color combination that once made the people of Mora famous all over the world.
Mora folk dress is still worn by people on special occasions, such as midsummer, weddings or folk music events. Over the years, the dress has undergone few changes and has remained largely the same as it always has. The Mora folk dress and the Morakniv are both worn with pride, in keeping with the tradition established by the ancestors and the heritage that has been developed and cultivated over the years.
The knife, with its ergonomic barrel-shaped polymer handle, features a sturdy finger guard and a 2.0 mm-thick carbon steel blade that provides strength and stability with every cut.

Note: The characteristics, brief, are data of the presence of due arpioni/ganci smontabili a vite. The function of the quest is simple ancoraggio. This coltello may be infatti used as the lancio's gancio fissando una corda all'anello present sul pomello. The product guarantees a tenuta of fine arpioni at 600 libbre. I Seals della Marina, nello specifico, avevano richiesto un coltello che potesse essere usato sott'acqua per poter ancorare i mezzi ad un punto de fissaggio subacqueo, ed ecco il reason della totale costruzione en acciaio.BUCK-184 -
