The Straight is a sturdy frame lock blade designed by artisan blacksmith T.J. Schwarz. Inspired by the small classic pocket knives his cowboy father carried, but with modern lines and materials.

With an overall length of just over six inches, the Straight features a textured G10 handle for a secure grip and a versatile Wharncliffe-shaped blade made of D2 steel with a razor-sharp tip. The handle is made of two different elements: the cheek piece crafted from anodized anticorodal aluminum and the hardened steel frame which also serves as the blade lock (Frame Lock System). This mechanism involves a part of the frame bending inward to firmly secure the blade in the open position, enhancing the user's safety during the knife's use.

The modern Boker Plus Aphex Mini is the scaled-down version of the Boker Plus Collection 2020 designed by Lucas Burnley. The finely sharpened blade is made from VG-10 and comes with an impressive finish. Thanks to the ball bearings and pinball machine, the knife is particularly easy to open. The ergonomically shaped handle is three-dimensionally milled from titanium and decorated with a modern carbon fiber inlay.

The original Zero Tolerance 0454 was an award-winning collaboration between ZT and custom knife designer Dmitry Sinkevich. But it was also a very Limited Edition knife.

So ZT is doing something about that with the new 0450. While based on the original’s streamlined form and high-performance function, this new and more compact version will be much more readily available. With its 3.25-inch blade and lightweight-yet-stronger-than-steel titanium handles, the 0450 has a sleek and sophisticated look that, we think, makes it a perfect EDC.

ZT built it with an S35VN stainless blade that sharpens to a razor edge, holds it well, and can be resharpened easily. The knife opens smoothly and easily with the KVT ball-bearing opening system and built-in flipper. A titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert ensures solid lock up. Polished pivot hardware just adds to the 0450's refined good looks.
