Inspired by the dark and fascinating figure from Greek mythology, the Echidna represents the convergence of primordial strength, mystery, and modern design. A hybrid creature with the features of a woman and a serpent, Echidna was considered the progenitor of some of antiquity’s most famous monsters, including the Hydra and Cerberus. From this inspiration comes the Boker Plus Echidna, a knife designed by French designer Raphaël Durand, capable of transforming mythological allure into a functional and contemporary object.

The model embodies the distinctive aesthetic language of the Durand series, featuring an ergonomically shaped handle with pronounced finger grooves, crafted from a sturdy yet lightweight GRN/TPE composite that ensures a secure grip even during prolonged use. The design is complemented by a reliable back lock mechanism and a lanyard hole, offering various carrying options.

The drop-point blade, crafted from D2 steel with a satin finish, combines excellent cutting performance, wear resistance, and reliability for everyday use. We present a one-of-a-kind example, the vintage Fox knife from Maniago, produced in 1997 and part of a limited series of only 1000 pieces. This specific knife, numbered 94, comes from a private collection and has been kept in perfect condition, retaining its original beauty and functionality intact.

Production and Origin: Made in Maniago, Italy, in 1997, part of a numbered and limited series (94/1000).
Materials: The blade is made of Damascus steel, composed of 512 hand-forged layers. The handle is made of cocobolo wood, known for its aesthetic and robust qualities.
Packaging and Authenticity: The knife is presented in a wooden box, ideal for storage or display, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Fox's founder, Oreste Frati, which guarantees its originality and quality.
