With nearly 15 percent vanadium, its unique composition creates a microstructure rich in vanadium carbides, resulting in exceptional cutting performance and amazing edge retention.

The limited design of Spyderco's CPM 15V family of knives is further refined through a specialized heat treatment developed by renowned custom knife maker Shawn Houston. This Sprint Run edition of the Para 3 keeps all the proven elements of this iconic design intact, including the high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and four-position pocket clip for unparalleled comfort.

To highlight its affiliation with the CPM 15V family, the knife features brown peel-ply textured G-10 grips, with Shawn Houston's “Triple B” logo laser engraved on the back of the blade.
