The Temperance 2 is Spyderco's answer to the need for a medium-sized fixed blade knife for heavy-duty use. Designed in-house by Sal Glesser for camping, general use, and MBC (Martial Blade Craft), this versatile knife also has a place in the kitchen, where Sal himself uses it both indoors and outdoors.

Made from high-quality VG-10 stainless steel, it features a thick, wide blade with a spear-point profile and flat grind on both sides for excellent cutting performance. The knurling on the spine and finger choil ensure maximum control and precision, while the sturdy construction makes it ideal for survival, hunting, camping, and food preparation.

The Canvas Micarta handle provides a secure grip, excellent grip, and quick indexing during MBC techniques. The flat pommel acts as a leverage point for the thumb in reverse or rearward grips. The Temperance 2 comes with a Boltaron sheath and 5-position Tek-Lok for versatile carry.

The Bark River Bushcrafter II is designed to be the ultimate bushcraft knife. The name itself is no accident: careful research has led to an exceptional result that is appreciated by enthusiasts in the field. The blade has an ideal shape for bushcraft activities, while the handle offers excellent ergonomics. Compared to the standard model, the Bushcrafter II is slightly larger, with a blade over an inch longer.

Made of CPM 3V steel, the blade is extremely durable and retains its sharpness for a long time. However, it is not completely stainless, so it should be cleaned after use and occasionally oiled to prevent corrosion. The edge has a convex bevel, which is easy to maintain by sanding.

The handle is made of fine desert ironwood burl, a hardwood from the U.S. and Mexico, featuring an elegant grain that gives the knife a luxurious look. The leather sheath allows for both vertical (belts up to 2 inches) and diagonal carry.

Each Bark River knife is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind.

Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu (Fukui prefecture), a city located roughly in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. Takeshi Saji was born in 1948 in Takefu (Fukui prefecture), a city located roughly in the center of Japan and in the heart of an area for centuries devoted to the production of blades. His workshop is still there, built around the oven thanks to which, for several years now, Takeshi Saji has been forging steel (especially damascus) with which he makes various models of traditional Japanese knives. The choice of materials for the finishes (mainly natural), the essential lines - evocative of use - and the chromatic combinations of rare impact make his creations unique and unmistakable in the panorama of world cutlery and, at home, they have earned him the prestigious title of Master.
