Designed to offer a compact yet extremely effective tool in emergency situations, Fireman's Backup was born from field experience and a careful analysis of the real operational needs of rescuers. The project is designed by Allen Jensen, a renowned outdoor designer and scout leader, who developed this tool after studying data and feedback from agencies and teams involved in wildfire management and emergency operations.

Due to its robustness and reliability, Fireman's Backup has been adopted not only by firefighters and emergency teams, but also by SWAT units, government agencies, and specialized military units, which use it as a support tool in tactical and forced-access operations.

Produced in Olean, NY, in collaboration with the skilled people at KA-BAR knives, the Spartan-Harsey Kukri knife has been designed to be a highly durable hiking knife. The kukri features a blade of over 22cm, making it an all-around tool due to its center of mass, allowing the user to slice while cutting to even penetrate thick objects.

While this blade is primarily famous for its military use, the kukri is more commonly employed as a multi-purpose tool in fields and homes across Nepal. Its uses range from construction, clearing, cutting firewood, digging, butchering animals for food, slicing meat and vegetables, skinning animals, to opening cans.

It can function as a smaller knife using the narrower part of the blade closer to the handle. The heavier and wider end of the blade, towards the tip, functions as a hatchet or a small shovel.
