The Temperance 2 is Spyderco's answer to the need for a medium-sized fixed blade knife for heavy-duty use. Designed in-house by Sal Glesser for camping, general use, and MBC (Martial Blade Craft), this versatile knife also has a place in the kitchen, where Sal himself uses it both indoors and outdoors.

Made from high-quality VG-10 stainless steel, it features a thick, wide blade with a spear-point profile and flat grind on both sides for excellent cutting performance. The knurling on the spine and finger choil ensure maximum control and precision, while the sturdy construction makes it ideal for survival, hunting, camping, and food preparation.

The Canvas Micarta handle provides a secure grip, excellent grip, and quick indexing during MBC techniques. The flat pommel acts as a leverage point for the thumb in reverse or rearward grips. The Temperance 2 comes with a Boltaron sheath and 5-position Tek-Lok for versatile carry.

With a silhouette reminiscent of a tactical dagger, this pocket knife is incredibly dynamic. Ball bearings, single-sided sharpening, stonewash finish, or openings to reduce weight in the hollow groove: the symmetrical Spearpoint blade in VG10 impresses with its sharpness in every aspect.

When open, the flipper completely disappears into the handle for a clean look. The ergonomic handle scales in non-slip G10 are equipped with additional grooves on the top and bottom for a secure grip, while the central groove in the handle mirrors the hollow groove of the blade. The linerlock, which securely locks the blade, is beautifully integrated - even the toughest cutting tasks stand no chance. Comes with a tip-up clip and a high-quality nylon sheath.

This model originates from Col. Rex Applegate's project the "Boker Smatchet", developed as a large combat knife, also perfect as a multifunctional tool for outdoors.

Starting from that project, Chuck Gedraitis' new Boker Plus Pocket Smatchet combines the design of the famous classic with the advantages of a practical pocket knife.

The sturdy Pocket Smatchet features a VG-10 Spearpoint blade, featuring a durable stonewash finish. The removable thumb pin on the back of the blade allows for ambidextrous opening, while the linerlock reliably locks it in place. The sturdy clip is milled from solid and also features the characteristic indentations of the classic Smatchet. With lanyard hole and high quality nylon case for storage.
