EXTREMA RATIO, an official supplier to the Comsubin, reinterprets this age-old tradition with ESTREMA, a tactical battle axe developed for the G.O.I. (Naval Operational Incursors Group).

With a state-of-the-art design, ESTREMA combines the strength and speed of the historic weapon with technological innovation, offering a versatile and reliable tool for the most demanding missions. Suitable as both a tactical combat tool and a breacher tool, ESTREMA is designed to meet any challenge. The name “ESTREMA” expresses the nature of this model: our most extreme product, the result of our boldest manufacturing experience.

ESTREMA is made of Böhler N690 steel with 54 HRC hardness and dark stone finish. The G10 material handle offers two modes of use: grasping the end section of the handle provides the traditional grip, while a narrower grip encourages close use. In addition, the axe head is left with a forged surface. Finally, long-fiber ash wood is used for the handle, which, unlike hickory, transmits less vibration to the hand holding the axe.
