In designing the Belone, Danish Jesper Voxnaes started from typical lines of the Italian regional tradition, perfectly reworked according to his modern, minimalist style that has made him famous worldwide. The result is a light, tapered folding knife embellished with refined details, such as the holes in the back of the handle.
The Böhler M390 Microclean steel gives the Belone excellent cutting qualities, and the ball bearings make it the fastest flipper opening, perfectly integrated into the overall design. The carefully crafted ergonomically designed handle has an anodized titanium frame enclosed between thin carbon fiber folders. The Belone's clip is attached to the spacer so that the knife disappears completely into the pocket, maintaining maximum discretion.

The Modified-Wharncliffe Nitro-V ball-bearing blade with stonewash finish opens smoothly through the thumb hole; the sturdy stainless steel frame lock and non-slip catches ensure safe work even in tough conditions. The Ant is the most compact among Extrema Ratio's folding knives. Despite its small size, this model features an extremely sturdy, durable, and reliable structure.

The handle is made of two different elements: the cheek piece crafted from anodized anticorodal aluminum and the hardened steel frame which also serves as the blade lock (Frame Lock System). This mechanism involves a part of the frame bending inward to firmly secure the blade in the open position, enhancing the user's safety during the knife's use.

The tang features a hole for the insertion of a lanyard, and on the right side of the handle, there is a steel clip that allows for concealed carry in the pocket.

The Ant Black version utilizes Böhler N690, hardened to 58 HRC for the best balance between edge retention and toughness, a type of steel used by Extrema Ratio for most of its knives.

The blade is sheep foot-shaped and has a small hole on the top part to facilitate opening. Its particular structure, with a straight edge, allows the user to comfortably rest their fingers on the back of the knife and use it with ease.
