Nicolai Lilin, a Russian writer, of Siberian origin, designed  Reactor in memory of the operation of the Russian navy special forces in 2010, near the coast of Somalia, when in 22 minutes two operational corps of the marines rescued from the pirates a kidnapped  merchantile ship   that was carrying oil. On that occasion the militaries could not use firearms to prevent the ship from exploding, so they only used knives. They caught 30 terrorists in 22 minutes. It was a unique operation in the history of international special departments. Reactor is dedicated to all special forces that use white weapons.

The collaboration between the writer Nicolai Lilin and Knives Maserin was born on 987 Siberian Knife. Knife shapes typically Siberian, has blade and scabbard with designs that reflect themes and symbols tradition of this land, cold and still largely mysterious; elements also present in figurative works and tattoos created by the author of the best selling book Siberian Education, then became blockbuster thanks to the wise directed by Gabriele Salvatores.

When I began teaching combat unfortunately I noticed that many teach the use of the knife in the wrong way. The knife is one of the most important tools for the man and his daily use is connected to my personal story, to my way of life, the principles learned from the teachings of my father and all the experience acquired as a teacher.
