Harsey Jr., drawing inspiration from the military history of World War II, specifically the Battle of Monte La Difensa and the collaboration between U.S. and Canadian special forces. This knife was created as a modern operational tool, designed to integrate tactical and survival capabilities into a single, reliable platform.
The full-tang construction, the use of high-performance CPM MagnaCut steel, and the spear-point geometry with a flat grind ensure penetration, control, and durability in complex scenarios. The machined 3D micarta handle provides a stable grip even in critical conditions, making it a solid choice for professional use, advanced outdoor activities, and technical collecting.

The Harsey TT (Tactical Trout) is designed to be a very comfortable and sturdy medium-sized knife for most field tasks and defensive use. The size of the TT makes it easy to carry and handle.
The blade profile provides a clean cut with excellent tip strength. The full tang and handle of the Harsey TT provide neutral balance in the user's hand. The ergonomically shaped, linen Micarta handle provides a comfortable and secure grip when dry or wet. The pommel has a lanyard hole in the center of the angled tip. The TT is an excellent universal fixed blade, well balanced in size, function and feel. In our opinion, one of William Harsey's best designs.
After more than 40 years of service in the U.S. Army Special Forces, Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey founded Spartan Blades LLC in North Carolina. Curtis, who had already been designing and drawing knives for his friends in the Special Forces for years, and Mark, who had always been involved in military and tactical equipment when he served in the "Green Berets," decide to combine their skills and passion with the goal of building innovative and functional knives using the highest quality materials and made entirely in the United States.
