The Spartan SHF is the result of a collaboration between Spartan Blades, Tu Lam of Ronin Tactics, and renowned knife designer Bill Harsey.

Straight to the point

The Straight is a sturdy frame lock blade designed by artisan blacksmith T.J. Schwarz. Inspired by the small classic pocket knives his cowboy father carried, but with modern lines and materials.

With an overall length of just over six inches, the Straight features a textured G10 handle for a secure grip and a versatile Wharncliffe-shaped blade made of D2 steel with a razor-sharp tip. The convenient thumb pivot along with the IKBS ball-bearing pivot system allow the blade to be opened smoothly with one hand, while the frame lock closure keeps it firmly open during use.

The all-black design is an homage to the family name, as “Schwarz” means “black” in German.

Daughter of Zeus and Themis, Atropos was the oldest of the three goddesses of fate in Greek mythology and, by cutting the thread of life, decided the good and evil of every human being. Captivated by this fascinating unease, American knife designer Chuck Gedraitis breaks free from the clutches of fate with the Boker Plus Atropos and takes control of the threads once more.

The shape of the tactical knife is modeled on the legendary tactical knives of Rex Applegate and respects its DNA with every cut. Symmetry is one of its distinguishing features, which is reflected both in the single-edged VG-10 blade and the ergonomic light brown Micarta handle. Bowie knives originated in the United States in the early 19th century and were considered reliable work knives, even occasionally used in combat. Typical of these fixed knives is the massive blade, with a characteristic design, usually more than 15 cm long and with a guard to protect the hand.

As a variant suitable for everyday use, the Chuck Gedraitis Boker Plus Pocket Bowie combines the fascination of the Bowie knife with the flexibility and compactness of a pocket knife. Equipped with a satin-finished Bowie blade made of D2, the three-finger knife easily copes with all day-to-day tasks.

The knife opens via the pull-out thumb stud, while the stainless steel linerlock reliably locks the blade in place.

The Cold Steel SRK (Survival Rescue Knife) has been a Cold Steel pride for over 25 years. Favorite knife for many military operators, still supplied to Navy SEALs today during BUDS training.

It is therefore not surprising that Cold Steel, when commissioned in-house designer Andrew Demko to develop a high-end tactical folding knife for military applications, was inspired by the legendary SRK!

The SR1's sturdy heavy-duty blade is made from US 5mm premium CPM-S35VN sintered steel

A good blade needs a good grip, so this model of the SR1 is made from G10.
