Bowie knives originated in the United States in the early 19th century and were considered reliable work knives, even occasionally used in combat. Typical of these fixed knives is the massive blade, with a characteristic design, usually more than 15 cm long and with a guard to protect the hand.

As a variant suitable for everyday use, the Chuck Gedraitis Boker Plus Pocket Bowie combines the fascination of the Bowie knife with the flexibility and compactness of a pocket knife. Equipped with a satin-finished Bowie blade made of D2, the three-finger knife easily copes with all day-to-day tasks.

As a Filipino martial arts enthusiast, Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design decided to design a Karambit knife for Boker Plus. These sickle-shaped knives originated in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for harvesting rice. In contrast, the Karambit from Boker Plus comes in a tactical guise. The handles are made of oiled American walnut wood while the blade made of stainless steel, sharpened and hand-picked on the stone by skilled craftsmen.

Being a model without return spring, the fixing of the blade to the handle is ensured by a solid brass safety ring equipped with a special locking device (covered by patent n.1187282 filed again in 1985 by the Todesco company of Maniago which is an active partner of this project) which can be activated both in the open position and in the closed position.

This product was built by subjecting the necessary raw materials to artisanal treatments such as to make every single knife unique, original and non-standardized. Any surface irregularities represent the confirmation of our manual processing and do not absolutely affect the operational functionality of the tool.

The RL1 is a knife made by Fallkniven in honor of the famous Robert W Loveless, a giant of the American knife guild, who passed away in 2010.

Charming knife used by the Japanese farmer.

As is typical for many agricultural tools, this Japanese knife is also extremely simple but the result of a centuries-old improvement that has found the difficult balance between form and function, and between cost and benefit.

The main feature is certainly the quality of the blade, in fact it uses a three-layer San Mai steel, of which the very hard one in the center.

It has a razor wire, as befits a tool created to cut and not just to be displayed in display cases.
