The design takes up the salient features of the two previous models, managing to integrate even better the round element that houses the mechanics. As is typical for many agricultural implements, this Japanese knife is also extremely simple but the result of a centuries-old improvement that has found the difficult balance between form and function, and between cost and benefit.

The main feature is certainly the quality of the blade, in fact it uses a three-layer San Mai steel, of which the very hard one in the center.
