Fans and collectors of the Osborne family, one of Benchmade's most iconic models, will notice the classic inverted blade shape paired with a brand new pattern on the Damasteel® blade. Called Ægir ™, the motif is inspired by Norse mythology and takes design cues from the Baltic Sea. The new design has carbon "Arctic Storm" grips with flowing blue accents and gold-plated floating rear spacers that give this limited edition Osborne a cool look, like the icy waters off the Swedish coast. The stunning Boker M4 Sherman-Damascus is a living piece of history and combines high quality craftsmanship with historical materials. The American M4 Sherman was designed in 1940 and is considered to be one of the most famous tanks in history. It was produced between 1942 and 1945, remained in service until 1957 and was used on all battlefields of World War II - not only by the United States and Canada, but also by Britain, by French forces. , from China and even the Soviet Union.

The Boker Sherman-Damascus features a unique 80-ply Damascus blade, forged with materials sourced from the production of the M4 Sherman tanks, previously restored by the museum. The unique damask is hand-forged for Boker by Chad Nichols and resembles the tank tracks left in the ground by the heavy chains of the M4 Sherman. The ball bearing blade fits into a solid steel frame block.

The overall shape of the knife is a tribute to the aesthetic lines of the tank, while the decorative screw of the blade axis is modeled on the characteristic main transmission pinion. The slightly contoured canvas micarta handle fits comfortably in the hand and the color is reminiscent of the camouflage paint used by both the United States Army and Marine Corps.

Sold with transparent display and with certificates of authenticity and individual serial number.

A portion of the proceeds from each knife sold goes to the Americans at the Wartime Museum to support educational programs and the care and preservation of these proud examples of American history. The Americans in the Wartime Museum is a nonprofit cultural and educational institution dedicated to honoring those who have served in all branches of the U.S. military and on the home front from World War I to the present.
