Microtech Marfione Custom ANAX - Limited Series 2015
In 2015, Anthony Marfione created a limited and numbered series of the famous ANAX, a folding integral knife that marked a turning point in custom design. Winner of the “Most Innovative Knife of the Year” award at the 2014 Blade Show, the ANAX combines functionality, futuristic aesthetics, and top-of-the-line materials. The custom models produced that year stand out for their handcrafted finishes, unique material variations, and exclusive accessories, quickly becoming collector's items coveted on a global scale.

We developed the M311 SPELTER knife in collaboration with members of advanced aerial observation units, close protection teams and special air operations. During the development of the knife we focused on using their experience and needs. Thanks to this unique cooperation, we had the opportunity to truly verify the quality of the chosen materials, design and overall construction of the product. The knife has been tested for a long period in extreme environments and various climates, including the hot, dry and humid areas of Asia, as well as the icy areas beyond the polar circle.

The Metalmark from Microtech has uniquely shaped handles that open to reveal a blade shape that simply flows. The channel handles are aluminum, black anodized with Torx pivot screw adjustment and a spring loaded latch. The blade is Elmax steel with a satin finish.
