Pohl Force - Bravo Two Classic - FDE Dark Stonewashed ATS-34 - 1079 - knife
To celebrate Pohl Force's 15th anniversary, the popular Bravo One and Two Gen. 1 folding knife models are being reissued with a few minor updates.
From the very beginning, their compact size and shape made them ideal companions for everyday use. And that has not changed to this day. Like the Alpha Two X, on the occasion of the company's 10th anniversary, with the original handle design from the first generation. The new Classic Edition also features other details, such as the locking mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the right or left side, and the two-handed blade opening.
It is not only the Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also the designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For almost a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knife manufacturers, before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. To mark the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl was able to obtain 'his' steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.
The Bravo Two Classic BK is equipped with an FDE (Flat Dark Earth) fibreglass handle and a Tanto blade with a Dark Stonewashed finish.

Pohl Force - Quebec Two Stonewashed - Limited Signature Edition - 2443S - knife
Pohl Force's Quebec series is a classic mission knife that has been at the top of founder and designer Dietmar Pohl's wish list for many decades. In 2014, Pohl Force received exclusive permission from the original manufacturer to use the basic design for its interpretation.
Developed as the Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon, the multi-purpose knife was designed for the U.S. Marine Corps in the early 1950s. Although it was never officially introduced, it clearly demonstrated its capabilities in the Vietnam War, especially in the hands of American special forces. Almost 70 years after its first design, the modern Pohl Force interpretation of this classic represents the perfect fusion of old-school classic design and modern high-tech production.
Designer Dietmar Pohl has revised the design of the Quebec One and expanded the knife's range of functions. The blade of the new Quebec Two is now made of D2 steel instead of Sleipner, which brings higher levels of carbon and chromium, thus significantly improving cut and corrosion resistance. In addition, Dietmar Pohl has once again optimized the blade of the classic. The new version now has a 10 mm longer cutting edge and a secondary edge on the back.
In addition, the Pohl Force Prepper System has been integrated into the handle of the Quebec Two to safely store survival items inside the handle. A tool to open the handle screws is included. Pohl Force's new scabbard system allows for greatly increased use. The highly elaborate sheath, made of 2.5-mm-thick Kydex, with belt adapter and leg strap, allows for high carrying comfort. To attach it to the hand, the Quebec Two is equipped with a lanyard.

As in the ancient Japanese Samurai swords. The rolled steel - imported into Italy by Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. In fact, as early as 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths combined different materials together to give the Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown. It is thanks to this revolutionary construction technique that Samurai swords have been preserved to this day, becoming one of the most fascinating objects made by man. Following this tradition applied to modern metallurgy, today we are able to have technologically advanced steels already tested and used in cutlery also by famous brands such as Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Mcusta, Kai, Sog, Zwilling, Rockstead, etc.
Characteristics of San Mai steel: These are different types of metals bonded together to create a composite that encloses and intensifies the strengths of the metals individually taken:
- Longer life of the cutting edge
thanks to the use of very high quality steels with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the heart of the sheet (Core Steel), the blade, once hardened, achieves decidedly hardness and cutting performance higher than those achieved with the use of traditional steels.- Greater resilience
built with the principle of Japanese swords, multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the side coating (Stainless Steel).- Better corrosion resistance
the steel used for the external layers (Stainless Steel) guarantees the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at the galvanic level, a structure that improves the corrosion resistance even on the wire.- Easy processing even after heat treatment
although steel normally becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multilayer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For an optimal performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.- Improvement of the aesthetic result
The knives made with multi-state steel or with a damascus pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world. For more information: collinisteel

Pohl Force - Tactical Nine SW knife - D2 steel - knife

The full tang construction culminates in a G-10 handle that finishes with a unique aesthetic element that impresses with its dramatic design.
The black surface with three-dimensional millings on the handle contrasts colourfully with the blade in a two-tone finish. The handle and blade are visually connected by a CNC-milled guard machined from a solid block of stainless steel. It is completed by the ever-present knotted paracord camouflage lanyard that distinguishes all Pohl Force productions and corresponds exactly to the same paracord used in the filming of the movie.
The knife comes with a top-quality leather sheath and is sold with a 3D Velcro patch and a cloth for care and cleaning.

Wander Tactical - Raptor knife - SanMai V-Toku2 & Green Paracord - kydex brown - custom knife
Japanese steel blends with Italian excellence
For this 2019/2020 collaboration, exclusive of Collini Cutlery, we have decided to propose a series of best sellers produced by Wander Tactical. Knives made with the famous San Mai steel produced by the Japanese Takefu Steel. Specifically, we used V-Toku2 carbonaceous at 62 / 63HRC for the central plate and SUS410 stainless steel for the two external plates, in order to guarantee a very high cutting capacity, penetration and sealing of the wire together with an easy regrinding and maintenance but at the same time the blade has a remarkable resistance to corrosion and an important increase in resilience given by the type of external steel and by the laminated structure.

Notes: Each knife is unique and handcrafted - Wander Tactical certifiedAs in the ancient Japanese Samurai swords.
The rolled steel - imported into Italy by Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. In fact, as early as 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths combined different materials together to give the Katana swords incredible cutting abilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown.
- Longer life of the cutting edge
thanks to the use of very high quality steels with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the heart of the sheet (Core Steel), the blade, once hardened, achieves decidedly hardness and cutting performance higher than those achieved with the use of traditional steels.
- Greater resilience
built on the principle of Japanese swords, multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the side facing (Stainless Steel).- Better corrosion resistance
the steel used for the external layers (Stainless Steel) guarantees the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, on a galvanic level, a structure that improves corrosion resistance even on the wire.- Easy processing even after heat treatment
although the steel normally becomes harder after hardening, the side steel used in multilayer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For an optimal performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.- Improvement of the aesthetic result
The knives made with multi-state steel or damascus pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world. For more information: collinisteel

Wander Tactical - Scrambler knife - SanMai V-Toku2 & Black Micarta - custom
In collaboration with Wander Tactical we have decided to offer their heavy duty, the Smilodon model, in an exclusive satin blade version that uses the famous Japanese San Mai steel produced by Takefu Steel.

Notes: Each knife is unique and handcrafted - Wander Tactical certifiedAs in the ancient swords of the Japanese Samurai.
Rolled steel - imported into Italy from Collini Steel directly from the Japanese Takefu Steel - is based on the ancient Japanese tradition in the creation of the famous Samurai swords. Already in 1100 the expert Japanese blacksmiths in fact combined different materials to give the Katana swords incredible cutting capabilities combined with a resistance and flexibility previously unknown. It is thanks to this revolutionary construction technique that the swords from Samurai have been preserved to the present day becoming one of the most fascinating objects made by man. Following this tradition applied to modern metallurgy, we are now able to have technologically advanced steels already tested and used in cutlery also by famous brands such as Fallkniven, Cold Steel, Mcusta, Kai, Sog, Zwilling, Rockstead, etc.
Characteristics of San Mai steel: These are different types of metals bonded together to create a composite that encloses and intensifies the strengths of the metals taken individually:
- Longer tool life
thanks to the use of high quality steel with a high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the heart of the sheet (Core Steel), the blade once hardened, achieves hardness and cutting performance decidedly higher than those achieved with the use of traditional steels.- Greater resilience
built with the principle of Japanese swords, multilayer steel is difficult to break thanks to the toughness of the central steel (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the steel used for the lateral coating (Stainless Steel).- Better corrosion resistance
the steel used for the external layers (Stainless Steel) guarantees the blade a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at the galvanic level, a structure that improves the corrosion resistance also on the wire.- Easy processing even after heat treatment
although normally the steel becomes harder after hardening, the lateral steel used in multi-layer processing does not lose its softness and allows easy processing, drilling or welding even after heat treatment. For optimum performance of the blade, cryogenic treatment is recommended.- Improvement of the aesthetic result
The knives made with multistate steel or with a damask pattern at the end of the processing are aesthetically elegant, refined and highly appreciated by collectors all over the world. For more information: collinisteel

Wander Tactical - Scrambler - Satin sanmai Cos & Brown Micarta - custom knife
In collaboration with "Wander Tactical" We decided to bring their EDC, the Scrambler model, in an exclusive satin-blade version that uses the famous Japanese Steel San Mai produced by Takefu Steel. Specifically, we used, for the central plate, the CoS to 61,5HRC (Cobalt Special, considered mechanically superior by 25% compared to the already much appreciated VG10) and 420J2 (56 HRC) for the two side plates in order to ensure high cutting capacity, but at the same time a remarkable resistance to abrasion, resilience and resistance to oxidation.
Occupation: EDC / Light Utility / All Round

From collector to author of reviews, to designers: the step was short for Claudio Colombo who, in a short time, decided to put his passion and experience to use by designing his own knife, the Kobura.
Inspired by the kiridashi, the Kobura (cobra in Japanese) revisits the essential lines of what was originally a typical Japanese instrument used to carve wood, but also a small daily utility knife used (especially by children) to tip pencils , cut paper, ropes, etc.The Kobura, an EDC with an aggressive and appealing appearance, is made of D2 steel hardened to 59-61 HRC; the knife is equipped with a short chisel blade (61 mm) and extremely robust (thickness 5.5 mm). On the back there is a practical anti-slip knurling for the thumb. On the side without bevel is the Valknut, a Norse symbol used as the logo of TheFence.
TheFence is a team of shooting instructors with different specialties and experiences. Claudio attended courses with Rob Pincus (of which he is one of the two instructors in Italy), Gabriel Suarez and Scott Reitz (formerly L.A. Swat and instructor); one of the partners is an Active Shooters Response instructor, and another one has deepened Israeli techniques.
