Founded in 1958 as "Sakai Hamono", it has its roots in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, a region famous in Japan for producing knives and swords for over 700 years.
Quality and innovation: The company was known for combining Japanese craftsmanship with advanced technologies. It produced a wide range of knives, from hunting and bushcraft knives to kitchen knives, and was internationally recognized for its high overall quality and excellent sharpening.
