Nontron Traditional Pocket Knife - Chaperon Model
This traditional pocket knife from Nontron is one of our best-sellers, a true symbol of the craftsmanship of COUTELLERIE NONTRONNAISE. The Chaperon model helped make Nontron's iconic French traditional knife famous. Nontron is a small commune located in the Dordogne department in southwestern France that has a long tradition in the production of handcrafted knives. The Model 16 was designed to meet the demand for an almost indestructible multi-purpose knife, including intensive use in salt water (careful cleaning and maintenance is however recommended). A special wax-impregnated sheath is included.

7″ (17.8cm) stainless steel blade with 6.5mm thickness. The top of the blade is slightly serrated to allow easy thumb placement. Black Micarta handle. Extra-heavy 7/8″ (2.2cm) wide tang that extends through a channel in the handle, securely fixed with epoxy.

This is a smaller version of Bo Randall's original knife, made in the Scagel knife style. 12.2 cm blade made of 4.5 mm thick stainless steel. This size and shape are popular with outdoor activity experts worldwide. It has a nickel silver guard and back cap and a handle made of authentic Indian deer antler. It weighs about 168 grams and comes with a brown leather sheath.

El Randall Model 1 Fighter fue uno de los primeros modelos producidos en el taller de Randall en Orlando. Un Modelo 1, fabricado por el propio Bo Randall, sirvió como prototipo para la Springfield Randall que fue producida por la Northampton Cutlery Company cerca de Springfield, Massachusetts, en 1943 y 1944 para uso del ejército estadounidense.
