The Amphibian is a true Marfione classic dating back over 20 years. It comes from a bygone era when Microtech knives could be both automatic and manual--in one. Here we have the manual version that incorporates Tony's RAM-LOK design with a reversible pocket clip and two thumb studs for a fully ambidextrous knife that sacrifices nothing in any way. It features Bohler's proprietary M390MK steel, available only from Microtech Knives. The knife is similar to the MSI Microtech Standard in terms of size, but when it comes to style, there is no comparison. Released in 2023, the MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) is the first Microtech knife to feature the fantastic RAM-LOK technology. This sturdy reinterpretation of the sleeper lock features Microtech's distinctive stepped pattern, made famous by the Ultratech series trigger switches. The wide blade cutout provides ample room for reverse middle finger movement and standard slow-rotation thumb opening, with or without gloves. If neither is preferred, simply pull down on the RAM-LOK and the blade opens with a flick of the wrist. Injection-molded handles offer excellent grip potential with both standard and inverted grips. Rugged, durable, great value and made in the USA, we know the MSI will quickly become a favorite of everyone in the knife community.

The Arbiter concept was originally sketched out by Adam Marfione in 2012. Microtech is excited to bring this piece into production as Adam begins to become an integral part of the team. Previously available only as a custom knife, the Arbiter features a 9" bowie-style clip point blade with an elegant curved primary cutting edge that flows into a raised tip with devastating penetrating power. The G10 grips feature a crisscross pattern and grooves along the edge of the handle that provide an impressive grip, creating a perfect harmony between user and tool. The Arbiter comes with a custom Blade-Tech carry system attached to the molded composite scabbard.
