  2. Ka-Bar - 6417 Red Spacer knife - 1095 steel - Special Edition - coltello

    Il Red Spacer KA-BAR è probabilmente il coltello KA-BAR più collezionabile realizzato durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Il distintivo distanziatore rosso presente sotto la guardia ha attirato l'attenzione dei collezionisti per decenni. Sebbene gli originali siano rari e costosi, il laboratorio State & Union di KA-BAR - che si occupa delle realizzazioni custom - ha realizzato un piccolo lotto di questo iconico coltello.

    Le rondelle in pelle sono modellate a mano per creare un aspetto invecchiato. Il fondello e la guardia sono lavorate artigianalmente per replicare le forme e le dimensioni dell'originale.

    Ogni distanziatore rosso è fatto a mano per essere leggermente più lungo dell'attuale distanziatore utilizzato sui coltelli da combattimento/utilità KA-BAR. La lama viene sabbiata, quindi trattata a freddo.

    Il fodero subisce un processo di invecchiamento per scurire la pelle e far corrispondere il colore del fodero originale.
