MoraKniv - Basic 546 Limited Edition 2024 - Dala Red & Ivy Green - 14282 - knife
This year's colors come from the 17th century Mora folk dress, one of Sweden's oldest folk dresses. Here the green fabric meets the classic Dala Red color typical of our knives. Together, they breathe new life into the color combination that once made the people of Mora famous all over the world.
Mora folk dress is still worn by people on special occasions, such as midsummer, weddings or folk music events. Over the years, the dress has undergone few changes and has remained largely the same as it always has. The Mora folk dress and the Morakniv are both worn with pride, in keeping with the tradition established by the ancestors and the heritage that has been developed and cultivated over the years.
The knife, with its ergonomic barrel-shaped polymer handle, features a sturdy finger guard and a 2.0 mm-thick carbon steel blade that provides strength and stability with every cut.

The CerakoteTM coated LSS PGK steel drop point blade features a main flat grind with a thick secondary swedge for maximum toughness and piercing ability.

The blade is heat treated and double tempered to a hardness of 59-61 Rc and the cutting edge is ground razor sharp at a 40 degree included angle (20 degrees per side).

Note from Jeff: Before joining the US Army, I worked for 5 seasons as a wildland firefighter based out of Sweet Home, Oregon. While there, I battled scores of wildfires throughout Oregon and the Western United States with a very skilled, hard-working and dedicated group of young men and women. My crew's radio dispatch call sign was "451".
I've named this knife family the "Model 451" in honor of those crew mates past and present that put it all on the line for the protection of our wildlands.

Coltelli - Numero 62 - Febbraio/Marzo 2014 - rivista
Rivista a colori Bimestrale prodotta e distribuita in Italia specializzata in coltelli di tutti i tipi (collezione, artigianali, militari, sportivi, multiuso…). 82 Pagine

Coltelli - Numero 58 - Giugno/Luglio 2013 - rivista
Rivista a colori Bimestrale prodotta e distribuita in Italia specializzata in coltelli di tutti i tipi (collezione, artigianali, militari, sportivi, multiuso…). 96 Pagine
Coltelli - Numero 57 - Aprile/Maggio 2013 - rivista
Rivista a colori Bimestrale prodotta e distribuita in Italia specializzata in coltelli di tutti i tipi (collezione, artigianali, militari, sportivi, multiuso…). 96 Pagine
Per quanto riguarda gli eventi, vi parleremo dell’East Cost Custom Show, svoltosi a marzo a New York. Buona fortuna e… buona lettura!coltelli57 -

The handle shape provides an ergonomic and balanced grip for use in multiple positions. Enhanced parrot's beak pommel and lower front guard aid in blade retention during chopping. Stainless steel hardware locks all the components into place.
Included is a Spec-Ops Brand fabric sheath with thermoformed puncture-proof kydex lining.
This is a premium 100% US-made field knife designed to excel in multiple cutting chores under the most demanding conditions.
