In designing the Belone, Danish Jesper Voxnaes started from typical lines of the Italian regional tradition, perfectly reworked according to his modern, minimalist style that has made him famous worldwide. The result is a light, tapered folding knife embellished with refined details, such as the holes in the back of the handle.
The Böhler M390 Microclean steel gives the Belone excellent cutting qualities, and the ball bearings make it the fastest flipper opening, perfectly integrated into the overall design. Katla, designed by Jesper Voxnaes, is a liner lock folding knife, featuring a Tanto profile blade with a bevel that enhances the excellent cutting qualities of the Böhler M390, hardened at 59/61 HRC.

The rotating mechanism is provided by thrust bearings, and it can be opened with either the double thumb stud or the very fast flipper.

The detail that characterizes the Katla is the 3D processing of the handle at both ends of the bolster, which reinterprets in a modern key, the inlays of the classic Viper models.

The flat edges and the titanium clip allow for comfortable and discreet carry.

The yellow diamond sharpening stone (25 microns) is used to make a fine sharpening, with the white ceramic stone (9 microns) the edge of the knife is polished in order to obtain a razor-sharp edge.

For cleaning, use some dish soap and hot water.

Diamond sharpening with two different sharpening grits.

The yellow surface consists of titanium and aluminum nitride which greatly prolongs the life of the sharpener. The rough side (44 microns) is used to recover more damaged cutting edges, while the fine side (25 microns) is used for precision sharpening.

For cleaning, use dish soap and warm water.

Like all diamond sharpeners, this whetstone is a little rough at first, but gets smoother after a period of use.
