High-performance blade
The powerful drop point blade made of CPM M4 steel with black PVD coating provides exceptional edge retention, maximum hardness and wear resistance. Perfect for intensive use in the field, it is designed to deliver consistent performance over time.

Reinforced construction
The center pivot bolt, visible all along the handle, adds strength to the knife's structure. It can be easily adjusted with a 5/16-inch combination wrench, allowing precise maintenance even in the field.

Safety and control
The DuraLock locking system uses a hardened steel crossbar to keep the blade open safely. Locking is easy and secure with a knurled surface button built into the handle for a firm grip even with gloves on.

Solid, grippy handle
The G-10 handle with 3D olive-colored textured surface provides a secure and comfortable grip. Under the grips, thick steel reinforcements further enhance the knife's overall strength, making it suitable for even the toughest jobs.

Here-I grew up in an area where coyotes yelp and howl at night. Their call is a bit eerie, perhaps frightening, but they are like those barking puppies: much ado about nothing. So when Igor Bortolussi of MKM asked me to design a knife, I started to design a knife that was a yipper: sharp teeth, but compassed appearance.
