The “Tre Kronor” line blends the latest martensitic technologies with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family. In fact, these knives are the only ones that bear the royal symbol of the three crowns on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box that contains the knife and sheath.

The laminated steel used is currently one of the finest industrial steels on the market and consists of an inner layer of 62HRC powder-molded SGPS paired with two outer layers of VG2. The knives thus exhibit exceptional cutting performance, penetration, and edge retention.

In the 1980s, Jimmy Lile developed an elegant folding knife with a button lock mechanism, known as the “Lile Lock.” This patented system consists of a front button on the handle that unlocks the blade when opening and locks it in the cutting position, ensuring safety and ease of use. The monolithic nickel-silver guides support the D2 steel blade, while the micarta inserts on the scales give the knife a refined look.

This is a generously sized knife, produced in limited quantities between the 1970s and 1980s. The numbered examples bearing engravings such as the patent number 4148140 are now highly sought-after collector's items of great economic value.

This folding model represents a perfect balance between functionality and collectible design: compact and easy to handle, with a reliable lock, high-quality materials, and meticulous details, embodying Lile's attention to craftsmanship even in a context other than the famous survival knife.

Fallkniven Tre Kronor TK1

The "Tre Kronor" martensitic combines the latest technology with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family.
These knives, in fact, are the only ones that can boast of a real symbol of the three crowns placed on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box containing the knife and sheath.
The steel laminate used is currently one of the best steel in industrial trade and is composed of a lamina in internal SGPS from dust, steel already used for the U2, to 62HRC coupled to two grips external VG2. The knives reveal so exceptional qualities of cut, penetration and sealing of the wire.
