The Kalinga, model first produced by Buck in 1969, was a favorite of Al Buck. With a large skinner blade and an ergonomic design, the Kalinga remains in addition to an important piece to collect, also an excellent choice for hunting use.

Originally produced in 1967 as a combat model, and also used during the Vietnam conflict, the model 124 becomes discontinuous since 1997 only to be revived by Buck in the Heritage Collection 2012/2013 in a limited edition of only 700 copies. It is distinguished by the full tang blade and the handle in black linen micarta.
