Charles de Buyer takes the bull by the horns and launches the Boker Plus Tavros (from the Greek, “bull”) into the arena, an EDC with an impetuous character. The French knife maker from Opus Knives, who lives in Canada, lives his passion as a true art form, paying extreme attention to every detail. With its progressive design, Persian-style D2 steel blade with a satin finish, and black G10 scales, this full tang fixed blade is already champing at the bit to prove itself. The silhouette of the blade recalls the horns of a bull, while the designer's unmistakable teardrop hole evokes an evil eye.

The Tavros is at its best when faced with demanding tasks such as cutting cardboard or opening packaging: real challenges that unleash its full power. The ergonomic grooves in the handle, the full tang, and the thumb rest ensure a comfortable grip, stability, and maximum safety during use. There is also a lanyard hole at the end of the handle, designed for attaching straps. But beware: only the most daring bullfighters will be able to tame the fiery temperament of the Tavros, stored in its perfect Kydex sheath with belt clip.

Ed Schempp, a wheat farmer, metallurgist, and renowned knife maker, created the Persian Folder by blending classic Western elegance with exotic Eastern charm. Traditionally, Persian knives are fixed, but Ed reinterpreted this typical shape in a folding knife.

Characterized by curved and harmonious lines, the Persian Folder 90 mm stands out for its black Micarta scales combined with polished stainless steel guards. The handle features a series of finger choils that allow for a firm grip and total control of the blade. The blade, inspired by the East, has a pronounced belly and an elegant upward-pointing tip.

Made of high-performance VG-10 steel with a concave grind, the blade measures 89 mm and features a prominent “hump” above the opening hole, ideal as a thumb rest. The clip allows for right-side tip-up pocket carry. A milling on the locking mechanism, known as the David Boye Dent, increases safety by preventing accidental unlocking during a firm grip.
