The “LionSTEEL-Emerson ONE” project is back and the L.E.One Mid was created as a compact, ultra-light edition of our original and larger SOLID folding karambit, developed in collaboration with Emerson Design. The SOLID frame-lock handle — a LionSTEEL hallmark — is milled from a single solid piece of Ergal aluminum while the blade is crafted from Bohler M390 steel.

The reversible stainless steel clip can be mounted on the opposite side by screwing in the corresponding square steel post.

A steel insert is positioned at the end of the handle scale where the lock engages, preventing aluminum wear from contact with the blade during opening.

The patented Wave opening: Ernest Emerson created the Emerson Wave Feature so the knife automatically opens when drawn from the pocket at the correct angle. It is the fastest opening system in the world — faster than many automatics, because the extraction motion itself deploys the blade.

The SOLID frame-lock handle, a distinctive feature of lionSTEEL, is milled from a solid piece of Ergal aluminum, while the blade is made of Bohler M390 steel.

The Ant is the most compact among Extrema Ratio's folding knives. Despite its small size, this model features an extremely sturdy, durable, and reliable structure.

The handle is made of two different elements: the cheek piece crafted from anodized anticorodal aluminum and the hardened steel frame which also serves as the blade lock (Frame Lock System). This mechanism involves a part of the frame bending inward to firmly secure the blade in the open position, enhancing the user's safety during the knife's use.

The tang features a hole for the insertion of a lanyard, and on the right side of the handle, there is a steel clip that allows for concealed carry in the pocket.

The Ant Black version utilizes Böhler N690, hardened to 58 HRC for the best balance between edge retention and toughness, a type of steel used by Extrema Ratio for most of its knives.

The blade is sheep foot-shaped and has a small hole on the top part to facilitate opening. Its particular structure, with a straight edge, allows the user to comfortably rest their fingers on the back of the knife and use it with ease.

The Ant Rescue, unlike other versions, has a cheek piece in red coloration that allows the operator to more easily locate the knife in case of a fall. This version is equipped with a specific serration that allows cutting ropes and even high-tensile aramid materials. Moreover, this model has a tapered tang that serves as an emergency screwdriver. The Ant Rescue has been developed according to the needs expressed by the "Italian Army Alpine Troops School".

The second blade is a scalpel, which can be used for extremely precise cuts and for emergency first aid interventions. The third blade, on the back of the first, is the smallest of the 3, it has the function of cutting lines, capable of cutting paracord and aramid material.

The interaction of the main blade with the scalpel allows the operator to make a quick emergency cut to free any injured person from his or her clothing.

Ferrum Rescue has a slim and compact shape, the two anodized anticorodal aluminum grips make up a light, slender and at the same time very resistant handle. It can be housed in a breast pocket, in small flashlight holsters or inside a single loop of the M.O.L.L.E. system. On the back there is also a hard metal glass breaker.

Equipped with a flipper assisted opening system, the blade rotates on ball bearings which allow a smooth and uncertain movement of the blade. This mechanism allows the operator to open the blade quickly and easily, even with just one hand. The locking system adopted is the well-tested liner lock. The reversible clip is positioned on the back.
